What Others Have to Say:

Back by popular demand…
Kevin Zraly’s introductory wine classes!

As many of you know, the last Windows on the World Wine School class was held in November of 2016. Since then, we have been inundated with requests for another introductory class.

The Marriott Marquis also wants to keep wine classes going, so here is the schedule for 2018:

One Hour Wine Expert April 11
One Hour French Wine Expert May 15
One Hour Italian Red Wine Expert September 17
One Hour California Red Wine Expert    November 12

Classes will be held at the Marriott Marquis, 1535 Broadway, New York, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.

Cost: $95.00 per class per person or $300.00 for all four classes

These classes will be an excellent refresher for former students (same jokes!) as well as a quick, fun, educational way for those just starting out in wine to learn the basics from, as the Wine Spectator claims, “the consummate teacher.”

Bring your friends and relatives so that they will understand your passion for wine!

The One-Hour Wine Expert is a tasting of six different varietals from around the world. It consists of three whites (Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay) and three reds (Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon).

The One-Hour French Wine Expert covers red and white wines from Alsace, Loire Valley, Burgundy, Bordeaux, and the Rhone Valley.

The One-Hour Italian Red Wine Expert presents the best of Italian red wines from Tuscany (Chianti, Classico Riserva, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Brunello di Montalcino), Piedmonte (Barolo, Barbaresco), Sicily (Mt. Etna), and Veneto (Amarone).

The One-Hour California Red Wine Expert will be a North Coast tasting of red wines: Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel.
